Bump for 4.0!
As the name of the thread implies... This is a stock rooted ROM based on Verizon official 4.17.605.5 Base. No mods, not themes, no hacks, no.... Just rooted and ready!
No worries ask away
Too me it seems like it would be too much work. You have to open another line of service to do this. Does the savings of battery really help that much and is it worth the cost of another line?
No the only real dependcies is photos and Plus One. They are the same app.
Generally the apps are going to be de-odex.
Put them in /system/app/APPNAME/
Remember to pull the LIB folder from the app and place it in /system/app/APPNAME/lib
THere is no CR ver for this device.
Its a Verizon galaxy Nexus. Support stopped at 4.2.2.
It was the device that showed off Android 4.0
Its a nexus so its designed to be rooted.
Interesting stuff for sure!
Sadly I have no materials for the Nexus 7 2012 any more. Sorry.

Hmmm... Not sure here. Just upgraded your status on the site :)
No because your external IP address is changing. The server prolly doesnt realize that and takes time to pick you back up.
Thats only a guess, I dont know for sure. You may have to talk to app...
I havent really tested any other kernels TBH. CleanROM uses stock kernel but I personally run Elemental X.
I hope so. I may actually consider switching back to VZW.
Correct. With the stock kernel, benchmarked both encrypted and decrypted I could not find a reason to decrypt. The benchmarks actually pointed towards encryption being faster...
The ROM will still work the same. If VZW had the phone out when AT&T did I would not have switched.
Updated links to SGS3 CR 8.2 :)
